Forum Europae up and running

Postby Qvirinvs on Sat Mar 01, 2008 12:48

Forum Europae is up and running again, with a new layout and extra fora for Dutch and Hungarian speakers. The English board will remain to be the centre of the Forum Europae still.

Excellent! The forum has been (and hopefully continues to be) a refreshing oasis of much needed inspiration in a spiritually fatigued world. Also, with the new selective registration we might avoid the more plebeian forms of fraternization, otherwise so common on forums such as this. Well done, management.

Thank you for your comments. We indeed hope to see such a constructive development.
As it stands now we have received different answers on the question about the planned contribution of each user in the registration form. In the following days we will probably add some extra explaining words to this item to avoid incomplete answers.
What we basically like to have clarity about is in what concrete ways users are able to contribute to our General discussion fora and/or Action fora (translation work, to name just one of the many examples..). So please avoid answers that are completely abstract nature. Note also that it should always be possible to change your answer afterwards, giving you the ability to adjust it to a given situation.

Just to be clear about this particular section (FE news): we ask our users to refrain from any extensive 'dialoging' in this section, since this space is mostly meant for news and updates about our platform. Short questions specifically about an announcement made here, which also can be answered shortly by us are no problem. If there is the need to discuss subjects directly related to (new developments of) Forum Europae more in-depth than the General discussion fora can be used for that purpose.

Thanks in advance.

Great to have you back. You should have a thread where people can introduce themselves, though, so we can get idea about who's here and why.

Best
